J. Thomas Sherrod, a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley (B.A., 1960) and Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California (LL.B., 1963), is a recognized master of the DUI defense and the intricacies of CaliforniaÕs Admin Per Se Law. He has successfully resolved more than 1,000 DUI cases, throughout California, participated as lead counsel in more than 100 DUI jury trials, and appears regularly before the California Department of Motor Vehicles on behalf of both professional and non-professional drivers in APS, negligent operator and medical suspension/ revocation actions.

Tom is a Specialist Member, past President, and permanent Director of the Association of California Deuce Defenders [CDD]; and a supporting patron member of C.P.D.A.. Often called upon to provide CEB training, hundreds of trial attorneys in both the San Francisco Bay and greater Los Angeles areas have attended his lectures and seminars on the presentation of evidence in driving under the influence and DMV cases.
